Instructions
1. Prepare Pancake Batter
Prepare the pancake batter by following the pancake mix instructions indicated on the box. Set the bowl of batter aside.
2. Color the Batter with Jelly Hues™
Divide the pancake batter into 3-5 mixing bowls, one bowl for each desired color. Add 3-4 drops of desired food coloring gel into each mixing bowl. Whisk to combine. Add additional drops of food coloring gel until your desired depth of color is reached.
3. Pre-heat the Skillet
Heat the skillet on your stovetop according to mix instructions. Lightly grease the pan with cooking spray.
4. Cook the Pancakes
Pour 1⁄4 cup of pancake batter onto the lightly greased skillet. Leave room between pancakes to maintain a circular shape. Cook according to mix instructions and remove from the skillet when done.
5. Stack the Pancakes
Place cooked pancakes on a plate in a stack to serve. Alternate pancake colors for a rainbow effect.
6. Decorate It Fancy
Top pancakes with maple syrup, sprinkles, and using a clean brush or Dusting Pump gently apply Edible Glitter for the fanciest pancake stack you’ve ever seen!
Fancy Tip:
Make tie-dye pancakes by pouring one color of batter onto the greased skillet, then using a spoon to drop teaspoon size dollops of different colored batter on top. Lightly swirl the colors together to create a tie-dye effect. Follow these steps with waffle mix to create a beautiful multi-color waffle stack as well.
