A: By being with my support group and going to the Pride parade in Chicago

A: Giving room to do testing in digital marketing strategies as well as general conversations about external activities and interests

Q: What is your role within the Fancy Sprinkles Community?

A: I use sprinkles in cake/baking decorations and create videos on Tiktok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

Q: What does Pride mean to you? 

A: Pride means remembering the LGBTQ+ history, acknowledging how far we have come within society, but how far we have to go. We need to remember that we are allowed to celebrate our successes, but have to work on helping everyone within the community. Pride gives awareness to members in the community and helps to highlight their lives. 

Q: How will you be celebrating Pride this year? 

A: I will be sharing stories of queer history while baking as a video series on Tiktok/Reels/Youtube Shorts, and attend events in Chicago.

Q: How does Fancy Sprinkles empower you to show your creative side?

A: The range of colors, shapes, and shimmer are very inspiring to create treats that reflect the sprinkles. Pairing the creativity of the sprinkle mixtures with cake/cupcakes pushes me to use more color in my baking. I come from a traditional Scottish style of fancy, elegant, but not too 'in your face' style of baking, and Fancy Sprinkles and the amazing collections of colour push me to have more fun and allow myself to try something new. 

Q: What is your favorite Fancy Sprinkles product to use when you’re celebrating?

A: I love the sprinkles. I was obsessed with the 90s inspired selections they brought out and went on to experiment with colourful sponge cakes. I have some more to use for upcoming summer bakes that I will be using for sure. The color palette reminds me of growing up.

A: I am a queer femme ​cis woman.

Q: What is your role within the Fancy Sprinkles Community? ​

A: I previously worked with Fancy Sprinkles on the marketing team, though I will always be part of the community as a Fancy Sprinkles aficionado.

Q: What does Pride mean to you?

A: For me, ​Pride is a celebration of love and representation of ALL of us in the LGBTQIA+ community. It is honoring, remembering, and celebrating those who paved the way for our community as it stands today. Pride is how we preserve the history and commemorate the start of the LGBTQIA+ liberation movement, and also memorialize the lives of our community that are no longer with us today. We do not only celebrate the work that has been done, but we also recognize the work that we must continue to do together.

Q: How will you be celebrating Pride this year?

A: We've lost the last couple years of Pride Month celebrations with the pandemic, so I'm eager to safely join the festivities this year — however that may be. While it's not just about rainbows and glitter and parades, it's a time when I can rally with my community and allies to celebrate diversity, acceptance, and love. Let's be real, though... I celebrate Pride every day. ​

Q: How does Fancy Sprinkles empower you to show your creative side?

A: I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a baker. Even around the holidays, you wouldn't catch me baking extravagant treats. You can catch me creating Fancy-fied cocktails and sprucing up everyday snacks. (I'm talking glittery dipped fruits, beautiful sugar-topped lattes, chocolate covered pretzels, and sparkly cocktails.) Fancy Sprinkles allows me to explore outside of my comfort zone without feeling intimidated about my baking skills (or lack thereof).

Q: What is your favorite Fancy Sprinkles product to use when you’re celebrating? ​

A: Prism Powder Edible Glitter, of course! It's my go-to when I'm not even celebrating, so it's only right that I bring the glitter to celebratory moments. Seriously, I would never turn down a glittery beveragino. Did someone say beveragino?

A: Customer Experience Associate

Q: What does Pride mean to you?

A: Pride is living your truth and accepting others' truths as well. It's about being proud of who you are regardless of what society has to say. Pride is confidence, being united, and lifting each other up.

Q: How will you be celebrating Pride this year?

A: I will be celebrating pride surrounded by friends and family who have supported me throughout my journey. Without their love and support, I wouldn't be the person I am today or have the self-confidence to be my authentic self.

Q: How does Fancy Sprinkles empower you to show your creative side?

A: Fancy Sprinkles introduced to a new realm of edible arts. Fancy Sprinkles allows me to be free in the kitchen. I was never really hands-on in the kitchen, and now I find myself constantly looking for new inspiration and ideas when making treats. Whether making cakesicles or mixing fancy cocktails, Fancy Sprinkles products don't put a cap on the endless possibilities. 

Q: What is your favorite Fancy Sprinkles product to use when you're celebrating?

A: I love to celebrate any occasion with Prism Powder Edible Glitter. It makes special events even more memorable by just adding some extra flair to any cocktail or treat. It's also the perfect crowd-pleaser. Friends and family members are instantly obsessed when it's first introduced.

Q: What is your role within the Fancy Sprinkles Community?

A: My role with the Fancy Sprinkles community is to sprinkle some sweet love and happiness to all the people around me. Glitter and sprinkles can make everyone happy! 

Q: What does Pride mean to you?

A: Pride is a special day where we celebrate love, equality and acceptance.
We share all the amazing work that the LGBTQ+ community did for us in the past and continues to do. It’s the best time to make the world aware off all the issues still affecting our community.
Pride is all about love, happiness and always being proud of who you are! 

Q: How will you be celebrating Pride this year?

A: This year Pride will be full of sprinkles, glitter and lots of delicious bakes. Maybe I should ask my alter-ego (my drag look) to make an appearance.

Q: How does Fancy Sprinkles empower you to show your creative side?

A: The amazingly delicious and colourful FS products can make a creative mind go wild with imagination and creativity. Every new campaign has a story behind it and when I read it, I start thinking of the best way to incorporate the products in my bakes.
If I could, I would make my baking room as colourful and sparkly as all the Fancy Sprinkles.

A: I always love to celebrate with the amazing Prism Powder Edible Glitter. From a glass of champagne to a cup of tea, I always love to add a bit of glitter. This is the best way to make your food and drink look fancy.
