Tools & Ingredients
  • Inner Siren Edible Glitter Set
  • Fancy Micro-dosing Spoons
  • 3 Small glasses for preparing cocktail layers
  • 1 Cocktail glass for enjoying
  • Fancy Decorating Brush [optional]
  • 1 1/2 oz Coconut Rum
  • ¾ oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 oz Club Soda
  • Graham Crackers
  • Honey or Agave
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

1. Create a “Sandy” Rim

Use your hands to crumble graham crackers into a large bowl. Add a dash of Moonstone Iridescent Edible Glitter for a touch of sparkle.

Fancy Tip: Leave some larger graham cracker pieces for a sandy beach-like texture!

2. Rim the Glass

Add a teaspoon of honey or agave to a plate. Dip cocktail glass into the honey, then dip the rimmed glass into the iridescent graham cracker sand.

Fancy Tip: When dipping the glass in honey, slightly tilt the glass along its side while rotating on the plate. This will add more honey or agave along the rim of the glass so that your sparkly graham cracker sand rim is looking extra beachy!

3. Prepare Cocktail Layers

In a small glass, add simple syrup and 1-2 scoops of Amethyst Purple Edible Glitter (we recommend using Fancy Micro-dosing Spoons to get the perfect serving, every time!). Use a cocktail spoon to blend completely.

In a second small glass, add 1 1/2 oz Coconut Rum and use a cocktail spoon to blend with 1-2 scoops of Teal Topaz Edible Glitter.

In a third small glass, add 3 oz Club Soda and use a cocktail spoon to blend with 1-2 scoops of Moonstone Iridescent Edible Glitter.

Fancy Tip: If you want more of a softer color to your cocktail, use less edible glitter for each layer.

4. Assemble Cocktail

Fill cocktail glass with ice and add the first layer of glittery simple syrup. Then, slowly add your second layer of glittery coconut rum, followed by sparkling club soda.

Fancy Tip: Use the back of a spoon to pour and layer on coconut rum. This will add the layer slowly, so it doesn’t mix into the first layer of simple syrup.

5. Add a Fancy Garnish

Use your decorating brush to gently dust Amethyst Purple Edible Glitter to a lime wedge.

Fancy Tip: If you are feeling extra Fancy, you can use Fancy Melting Candy to create a mermaid tail as a garnish. Heat up Melting Candy in the microwave in 30 second intervals until it is fully melted. Cut the tip off of the application end and add Melting Candy to a mermaid tail silicone mold. Tap the mold to get any air bubbles out and place in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until it is fully set. Use your decorating brush to add a layer of Moonstone Iridescent Edible Glitter and enjoy!
